An excellent #fairtradefortnight event in Edinburgh today at the Cornerstone Centre with True Origin, the Scotland Malawi Partnership and the One World Shop. The audience was a great mix of fair trade supporters and pupils from George Watsons College. TO Chair, Mary Popple spoke about the joys and challenges of running a fair trade social enterprise. Kilombero Rice farmer, Howard Msukwa talked eloquently about the importance of the fair trade partnership between KASFA and True Origin. Lots of enthusiastic tasting of TO products and sales of goods from the One World Shop. Thanks again Howard for your energy and enthusiasm.
