Mix together the butter, two eggs and butter milk a cup at a time and then add the beer bread mix until the dough comes together and then transfer the dough onto a floured surface.
Separate into 6 equal pieces and roll each piece out into a 30cm rope and wrap each rope with a rasher of bacon.
Braid the dough and the shape each braid into a circle and place the dough nests onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Place an egg in the centre of each nest and brush the dough with the egg wash and bake at 170 C for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
